Carol Benisatto is a local Westchester artist you holds a degree in Advertising Art & Design from the Academy of Art in Seacliff, NY. Since the beginnings she has studied with many teachers but is now working with Maija Veide at The Northern Westchester Center for the Arts.
In this new series of large charcoal drawings Carol has found the essence of her models as inspiration and has created what she calls "Character Portraits." Each portrait is unique and exciting in their own way.
At The Paint Box we have designed a frame for her that works on each drawing very well. The frame is metal but is covered with natural nickel giving it it's name the Element frame. This very natural organic look is so right for Carol's figures that are never static but always changing. The very deep beveled mat protects the art work at the same time adds drama to the overall look.
The show in South Hampton was interesting.
Carol's work is now being viewed by many who are coming to the South Hampton Inn for meetings all summer.
These are the movers and shakers so we wait to see who will be the first to be her major collector.
